Let's see if I can finally pull this off. Two posts in a row, although this one may take me a couple days. Mostly because I'm digging through old photos to include visuals here.
I suppose the biggest project we have been working on is the small fishing cottage on our Florida property. It looked fine on the surface when we bought it (and the house). But literally after a bit of digging (which I have noted on Facebook a few times), we found a lot of work that needed to be done, both sub-surface and above ground. In actuality, most of it was work we wanted to do to extend the life of the last remaining fishing cottage along a several mile stretch of the Santa Rosa Sound shoreline.
With that intro, what follows is a "before, during and after" annotated pictorial capturing a rehab that began four years ago and continued through early spring of this year. Yes, there are still a few more tweaks remaining on the "to-do list." But the bulk of the work from plumbing, electrical, A/C, floor leveling, reflooring, receiling, rewalling, reroofing and rehabbing the kitchen and bath, is done.
